Due to overwhelming applicant response, we currently are adding all those that apply to a wait list.

Current applicants will be notified of their status by the end of July.

Notes:

  • The AAOS OITE In-Training Examination® (OITE®) will not be administered in Dallas. Accepted applicants must make arrangements to take the OITE® at a different time if you are attending the AAHKS Annual Meeting. The AAOS testing window is November 4-13, 2022
  • First time attendees receive priority. Past participants of the Resident Course will be added to a wait list and selected in September if space remains. 
  • Applicants selected to participate will be notified by email with an acceptance letter containing additional travel information at the end of July 2022. 
  • Attendees qualify for AAHKS Arthroplasty Surgeon in Training membership for the annual dues rate of $95. Apply online for membership. 
  • Attendance at the Annual Meeting indicates your permission for AAHKS to use photographs, video and audio for AAHKS publications and on the AAHKS website. 
  • Cancellations must be received by  September 30, 2022. Send any changes/cancellations via email to Sharon@aahks.org. Residents will be responsible for flight cancellation costs.

Attendee Options (Select One)
1. Cement & Lab Course, Resident Course, and Annual Meeting (Thursday-Sunday) 
Participation includes reimbursement for the lowest economy airfare up to $500. AAHKS will provide four nights hotel accommodations, AAHKS Annual Meeting, Resident Course, and Lab Course registration, all meals, breaks and receptions.  

2. Resident Course and Annual Meeting (Friday-Sunday) 
Participation includes reimbursement for the lowest economy airfare up to $500. AAHKS will provide  three nights  hotel accommodations, AAHKS Annual Meeting and Resident Course registration, all meals, breaks and receptions.   

3. Cement & Lab Course and Resident Course (Thursday-Friday) 
Participation includes reimbursement for the lowest economy airfare up to $500. AAHKS will provide up to two nights  hotel accommodations, Resident Course and Lab Course registration, and all course meals.  

4. Resident Course Only (Friday) 
Participation includes reimbursement of the lowest economy airfare up to $500. AAHKS will provide up to one night  hotel accommodations, Resident Course registration, and all course meals. 

*Note:  Hotel night accomodations will be based on your selection choice and reservations will be made by AAHKS. Coverage for choice outside of alloted nights will be billed to the attendee.
